Campus High School Linkage Renewed

Back in the early 1970’s, when EvaSUE was in its formational stage, a big part of the ministry was the Evangelical High School Students Christian Fellowship. Due to the persecution under the communist regime in the 70’s and 80’s, the student ministry had to go underground. For the preservation of the ministry among high school students, this part of the ministry was handed over to Scripture Union – Ethiopia (SUE). And ever since there has been a longing for reengagement in the high school ministry area and also a deep gratitude to Scripture Union for their faithful continuation of this ministry.

Since the Vision 2022 Strategic Plan for EvaSUE was developed, we have been working on implementing the 4th strategic priority in the plan: Campus High School Linkage. Friday, the 6th of December 2024, was therefore a historic day for EvaSUE. On this day we met with the Scripture Union Ethiopia leadership to sign a new Partnership Agreement to officially seal our commitment to support and serve the evangelical high school students of Ethiopia. We are grateful to God for bringing our cooperation to this stage. Our prayer is that this partnership will be a means for advancing the Kingdom of God together in a greater way in the years to come!
